Gorka Marquez is a sensational Spanish Latin dancer, choreographer and judge, best known for his appearances on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing. Born on 4th September 1990 in Bilbao, Spain, Gorka began dancing at the age of 12 and represented Spain in the World Latin Championships in 2010.

Due to filming schedules this means Gorka won’t have a celebrity partner in this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing. Don’t worry though, Gorka will still be part of the group performances and appearing at Donaheys Weekend Experiences.

In the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing, Gorka was partnered with NHS doctor and TV personality Dr Punam Krishan.
