Originally from Ukraine and now based in Italy, Aleksandra has spent her life dedicated to dance, earning recognition as one of the leading Latin dancers on the international circuit. A multiple Ukrainian National Latin Champion, she has consistently competed against the very best in the world and is currently ranked amongst the world’s top 21 Latin dancers.
Her impressive competitive career includes Top 10 finishes at the European Latin Championships in Blackpool and the Dutch Open World Latin Dance Competition, together with reaching the Final of the UK Dance Festival Latin Rising Star Championship. Her elegant styling, explosive Latin action and expressive performances have earned admiration from audiences and judges alike.
Aleksandra currently dances with New Strictly Professional Cristian Priori Together, Cristian and Aleksandra have competed internationally at some of the world’s most prestigious dance competitions, captivating audiences with their outstanding musicality, powerful Latin technique and expressive performances.
This year Cristian & Aleksandra achieved another major career milestone as they joined the professional cast of BBC Strictly Come Dancing. Speaking about joining Strictly, Aleksandra said:
