New Strictly Come Dancing Professional Cristian Priori is an internationally acclaimed Latin American dancer whose exceptional competitive record, powerful performance style and unmistakable Italian flair have earned him recognition among the world’s leading dancers.
Born in Rome, Cristian began dancing from a young age and quickly demonstrated an extraordinary natural talent. He became Junior Italian 10-Dance Champion before concentrating on Latin American dancing and establishing himself as one of Italy’s most successful international competitors.
Cristian is a four-time Italian Latin Champion and spent an impressive eight consecutive years ranked among the world’s top 24 Latin dancers.
His outstanding competitive career includes becoming a Rising Star Latin Finalist at both the prestigious UK Open Dance Championships and the Dutch Open, as well as reaching the semi-final of the Open World Latin Championships.
Cristian currently dances with New Strictly Professional Aleksandra Isaeva. Together, Cristian and Aleksandra have competed internationally at some of the world’s most prestigious dance competitions, captivating audiences with their outstanding musicality, powerful Latin technique and expressive performances.
This year Cristian & Aleksandra achieved another major career milestone as they joined the professional cast of BBC Strictly Come Dancing. Speaking about joining the programme, Cristian said:
