We’re thrilled to announce that Brendan Cole will be teaching a one-off masterclass for us at Dukinfield Town Hall on Monday 30th July ’12, 7pm – 8pm.
The Brendan Cole dance class is presented by Flora pro.activ and available to everyone on a first come first served basis.
There are NO tickets for this event, guests will simply be admitted on a first come first served basis.
World-class professional dancer, choreographer and Flora pro.activ ambassador Brendan Cole will be swinging into Manchester to host a one of a kind dance masterclass.
With help from his former dance partner, Jo Wood, Brendan will be inspiring the people of Manchester to get up and get active with an energetic jive-inspired dance routine, designed to help dance enthusiasts lower their cholesterol and keep their hearts healthy.
Flora pro.activ has partnered with Brendan Cole and lifestyle guru, Jo Wood, to launch the ‘Swing Into Action’ campaign, increasing awareness amongst those over 45 years old about the risk of raised cholesterol and how, by dancing and other small and simple changes to their diet and lifestyle, they can help to lower it.
Brendan Cole commented: “I’m delighted to be involved in the Flora pro.activ Swing Into Action campaign and I’m thrilled to be in Manchester spreading the message about how easy it is to lower your cholesterol with dancing. I have choreographed a fun jive-inspired warm up routine to help keep your heart healthy so I’d urge everyone to go ahead and take the challenge!”
Jo Wood added: “I have always strived to live a healthy and active lifestyle and I have seen for myself the benefits dancing can have on your health. It is important to remember that making small changes really can have a big difference. People of all ages, shapes and sizes can have high cholesterol without knowing, but the good news is that it is really easy to get yourself tested; you just need to book an appointment with your GP or at your local health clinic. Dancing and using Flora pro.activ are two great ways to help manage cholesterol so I’m thrilled to support the Swing Into Action campaign in Manchester and encourage others to take up the challenge.”
Flora pro.activ is working with Brendan Cole and Jo Wood to encourage the nation to reduce their cholesterol and look after their hearts. The Flora pro.activ range contains plant sterols, which are clinically proven to lower cholesterol. Three daily portions of Flora pro.activ spread or milk or just 1 mini health drink provide enough plant sterols to actively lower cholesterol, which is a major risk in developing heart disease**. Flora pro.activ products help to lower cholesterol and hence maintain a healthy heart.
