The Beauty Of Dance by Roger Bamford

When one hears people discussing ‘The Arts’ you’ll discover the subject covers many genre, but few are visually more beautiful and appealing than the display of dance.

You only need to think of 19th century artists such as Degas and Manet to be reminded that dancers have captured the eye of artists and audiences from across history. With that in mind, just consider how fortunate we are to be home to Donahey’s Dance School, one of the UK’s leading Dance Schools whose tutors are dedicated not only to offering brilliant dance lessons for children, but have been teaching dance to both children and adults across Tameside & Stockport for over 45 years!

With so much importance being placed on children’s’ health these days, dancing is considered to be one of the greatest fitness programmes, children can take part in. And here at Donahey’s, children are benefiting from the expert tuition in mastering the latest dance styles such as Ballroom, Latin and Disco and Chart dances just like they’ve seen performed by celebrities on TV.

As well as the obvious fitness benefits, dance also helps children improve their sense of rhythm, co-ordination and builds their self-confidence. Little wonder then that dance is currently the fastest growing art form in the country and a fabulous hobby for children, most of all at the fabulous Donahey’s Dance School!

Donahey’s also have a fabulous range of adult dance classes for beginners starting this month where people of all ages can be sure of expert dance tuition in a wonderfully relaxed and fun environment, right here, on their doorstep.

Paul Donahey, the schools principle Dance Instructor said, “We know from experience the hardest steps are those first steps through the door, but once inside, I guarantee we’ll have you dancing in no time!”
With the growing interest in Ballroom Dancing born from the BBC’ hugely popular ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ series, more and more people from around our town are revelling in the expert Dance tuition given by highly qualified tutors, in some of Tameside & Stockport’s most prestigious ballroom’s.

Hundreds of couples, singles and children alike will tell you that Donahey’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ course has proved to be ‘just perfect’ for those social occasions; Weddings, Cruises, Dinner Dances, Holiday’s etc. where you normally just ‘sit and watch! – and once you’ve discovered that you really haven’t got ‘two left feet’ you will love our regular social evenings – great fun nights out, held exclusively for our class members, to come along to socialise and practice.

For further information or to register to join one of Donahey’s Dance Classes, you can book directly from their webpage on: www.donaheys.co.uk
