What time is the Strictly Christmas Special on TV?
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special will be aired on BBC One on Thursday 25th December 2025, Christmas Day at 4.40pm estimated
The show will be hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman with expert feedback provided by judges, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.
The six couples will each perform a Christmas inspired dance routine in line with this year’s theme – fairy tales and making dreams come true – as they compete for the Christmas accolade. It’s then up to the studio audience to decide who deserves the crowning glory.
Eurovision legend Sam Ryder performs in the ballroom, plus there are two spectacular group routines guaranteed to bring Christmas cheer.

The programme will be pre-recorded on Tuesday 4th December.
As the show is pre-recorded there is no viewer votes, the studio audience alone decides by voting once all the contestants have danced.
