Strictly stars perform for you this Christmas

Last Updated: 31 Oct, 2012 at 8:32

As this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing hots up, we’re reminded that Christmas 2012 is just around the corner. BBC’s Strictly is a Saturday night staple in homes around the nation, with the final being watched by millions around Christmas time.

It’s because of our obsession with the hit TV show that dance school, Donaheys, in Manchester, have created the ultimate Christmas gift for fans of Strictly Come Dancing. A chance to meet, and dance, with the stars of the show themselves.

The dance school have been running these star studded Strictly weekends for several years, but owner, Paul Donahey, says, “People still can’t believe that this is something they can actually do. Once we release details about our Dancing with the Stars weekends, they always sell out quickly. This year we’ve added more dates and venues to keep up with demand.”

The weekends are packed with exciting experiences, which fans of Strictly will find simply overwhelming – dance lessons with their favourite professional dancing stars such as Anton du Beke, James and Ola Jordan and Kristina Rihanoff. Plus, a special dancing showcase performance by the couples, a VIP black tie event and a chance to have photos with the stars backstage.

Paul continues, “Places at our dance weekends are often bought by men for extra special Christmas gifts for their wives, as well as groups of ladies who want to enjoy a fun weekend of glitz and glamour. It’s something a little bit different as a fab-u-lous gift.”

Places for Dancing with the Stars Weekend’s in Manchester, Staffordshire, Windsor and Glasgow can be booked online at www.donaheys.co.uk
