We have just spent the most wonderful weekend at Alton Towers Resort. The showcase dancing by the stars was spectacular and breathtaking . No matter if you are Bambi on ice or a seasoned twirler there is a place for you. Paul along with the team are so approachable and friendly also the patience displayed by the instructors is that of a saint. Whether you are receiving instruction from a Strictly star or one of the Donahey team the quality is of the highest standard.
We have booked for next year as I would hate to be told there are no places left.

We have been on our second Donaheys Dancing with the Stars weekend ,this time to Alton Towers. What a fab time we had the hotel is very quirky with great food. They even put on entertainment while waiting to register for our wristbands. Fab singers! The weekend was very well organised as is all of them thay really run like clockwork. The Dance stars/professionals for the weekend work so hard teaching us all , then dancing there fabulous show dances which are always Amazing. These weekends are worth every penny ! No wonder people return each year, it dosnt matter which hotel you book for it just works. Its great to spend time with like minded people who just love to dance and make new friends , even the stars remember you, how great is that! Paul and his team along with the band always do an amazing job. so thank you all.

I've just spent the weekend at The Celtic Manor Resort Newport attending the Donaheys' Dancing with the Stars and had a truly memorable fun filled weekend. It was all very well organised from booking to the actual weekend. Plenty of very helpful staff to communicate issues and questions to if needed. All the Strictly Stars were super friendly and enthusiastic to help everyone. I have wanted to do a Dancing with the Stars weekend for a while and I am so so glad I booked and did it. Worth every penny. Looking forward to possibly another visit next year.

Our first time at a Donaheys event and we were not disappointed. The whole weekend was really well organised and a credit to the team that put it together. The ‘Strictly Stars’ (plus Janette’s bump!) were all so lovely, and very patient with us beginners! Enjoyed it so much that we’ve booked for another of the Donaheys weekends next year. Thanks to Paul and his very hard working team.

This is the first time we have been to a Donaheys weekend (I can’t believe I’d never heard of it before) and we have had the best time ever. Action packed with dance lessons with the stars learning all the dance moves and laughing so much when trying to remember them later without the experts present! The show cases were fabulous. The live band was brilliant. The Donaheys team were all lovely, kind and helpful. We have booked for next year and can’t wait!!

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer there is something for everyone. I've already booked my place for next year....you should do the same!

Just returned from an absolutely fantastic weekend organised by the Donaheys family and their great team. Words cannot describe how incredible it was! The entire weekend was extremely well organised. The dance workshops, taken by Strictly Stars, dance champions and Donaheys team were brilliant and great fun. Lovely to learn some new steps and improve our techniques. The three dance showcases over the weekend we’re amazing and mind blowing at times. Brilliant seeing the new young talented dancers as well. The weekend was packed with entertainment and workshops. The accommodation and food at the hotel was really good too. We enjoyed our weekend so much, my husband and I have already booked to return. Thank you Donaheys for such a memorable weekend!

Donaheys always put on a fabulous weekend, however this time was especially difficult for
me as I was the first strictly weekend without my lovely mum who very sadly passed away last year in June. I was very emotional but I had my godmother and I some how got through the weekend. I had an amazing time and loved all the dance classes. I can’t thank the Donaheys enough for such a fabulous weekend and I can’t wait to see you all again next year. 🙂

A weekend that surpassed our expectations with a very reluctant husband we learned to laugh and although very slow at picking up the steps in our lessons it didnt dampen our enthusiasm. Each and everyone of the Strictly Stars were great fun. To Paul and his team thank you. Cant believe we have booked for 2023 - my husbands suggestion - miracle. 😂🤣

What a weekend. Absolutely loved it. The strictly stars were just incredible. Both from the amazing showcases they performed and also the workshops they ran. My husband and I are absolute beginners and they made the classes fun and manageable. Paul and his team did a fantastic job and had thought of everything to make the weekend perfect. Cannot recommend it enough. Met some lovely people (who love strictly as much as I do). The professional dancers were outstanding too. My face aches from smiling. It was up there as one of the best weekends I have ever had. Will definitely be returning returning

one of the best things i have ever done in my life! as a non dancer i was nervous about going, but boy am i happy i went. the team were amazing, there is something for all abilities and it was the most amazing atmosphere. the strictly stars were the icing on the cake and for a mad crazy strictly fan like me it just made a great weekend even greater! we will definitely be looking at booking for next year!

Just got back from the Alton Towers weekend away. We had a fabulous time and couldn’t speak more highly of Donaheys. It was the most memorable weekend dancing with and watching the stars of Strictly. Alton Towers was a great location and Donaheys had transformed it into a dancing wonderland. We enjoy attending the Donahey’s dancing school and the weekend took our dancing expectations to new heights. Thanks to the Donahey’s team.

I love to dance despite never having had a dance lesson. I was super excited therefore to receive a 'Dancing with the Stars' gift at Christmas and the whole experience was joyous from start to finish!!

The event weekend ran like clockwork, with the Alton Towers hotel staff and Donaheys staff providing exceptional service to make our experience one we will never forget!

Our thanks to everyone that made our weekend happen including all the staff, the stars and not forgetting the wonderful friends we made that we laughed and danced along with!

Thanks once again to all the Donaheys team for organising another fantastic dance weekend break at the Alton Towers Hotel. We learnt some great new moves in the classes, and the show dances were fantastic. After watching them grow up before our eyes, it's always a delight to see Glenn Richard Boyce & Caroly Janes return to wow us with their Latin American showcase...I can't wait to see more! Every aspect of the weekend is very well organised and managed, with the same lovely team there to look after us year after year.
